RRS Upgrades

I have been looking for a High quality body kit for the new Range Rover Sport to add to my line of upgrades. I tried Overfinch, but they ended up being a waste of time., Arden has too long of a wait/high prices and nobody wants to carry them over here in the US.

I am now hooked up with SVC out of California. They have a lot of Land Rover/Range Rover upgrades, but not too many for the RRS. Can anyone recommend any other Company for the RRS? How is Kahn?

What do you guys think of this SVC grille for the RRS?

Sorry not my cup of tea. I prefer the S/C grill. MY08 RRS TDV8 HSE, Stornoway Grey, Ebony and Zabrano, sunroof, hybrid tv, premium ICE, rear E diff, privacy glass, side steps, mud flaps, S/Grey mirror covers, Venture shield, tasmods, smoked indicators, Larini sports exhaust, etc, etc.

...but the cost does include 2 SVC window stickers, so what are we complaining about??? Laughing

PS: It looks really bad. It looks like someone has nicked your front grille and you can see through to the radiator!

I am getting the feeling that you guys do not like it? I think it looks Ok, better than the OEM grille, but it is a little pricey.

Over here in the US, their can be so many people with the same kind of vehicle (BMW, Benz), that a lot of people will change the appearance just too stand out. I realy like the SVC kit on the full size Rover and their other products.

Is their any recommendations for other suppliers of RRS upgrades? Question

Mike

I think it'd be fair to say that Overfinch are probably the most respected after market modifier for Range Rover in the UK. Kahn seem also to have their following but do tend to appeal to those who like the "less tasteful" upgrades. Personally, I don't like any of the kit they turn out... You said Overfinch were "a waste of time" - any reason for that?

I contacted Overfinch and talked with Mark. He was very nice and excited to work with me. He sent me at least 50 pictures of their products on vehicles. He said he was going to gather up pricing information and more pics and send it all to me, he did not have it ready because they had never sold on the internet.

I posted on my site that Overfinch was coming soon and had a few customer calls about that. I waited 1 to 1.5 weeks for the info, then I talked with Mark and he said that they decided to not sell on the internet and just remain selling through the dealers. He was worried that the Internet would under-cut the dealer pricing and they did not want that to happen. I told him that is why you have a Minimum Advertised Price and that I could be the only Online source, they still said no.

The price ! You've got to be joking, right ?

I can have that type of grille with a solid surround 'a la Jaguar XJ Sport ' made for far far less.
I proposed this some time ago but like this thread the feedback was negative, so I did not pursue it.

That pricing is from SVC not Eurotoys.
