On the modern Motorola handsets I've used like V3 and V710, Bluetooth automatically transfers successfully to the PTI as long as I leave the phone's Bluetooth on. It switches soon after I open the car with the fob, which wakes up some of the infotainment electronics.

However, if I don't insert the key in time... the call will get muted for a bit until I turn the vehicle on with my key: Bluetooth connects, but the stereo isn't fully on so I can't hear anything. Smile

You might want to see if there is a firmware update for your phone...

yeah, i got the V3 when it first came out 7-8 months ago, i will see about updating it today. thanks.
