Want replica 20" alloys? Or 22" Tigers?

If you are not bothered about buying OEM alloys from the dealer or on eBay you can choose from numerous places selling the standard 20" SC alloy or Stormers.

Considering how easily my OEM wheels have damaged, IF I was to replace them off my back, I would not bother paying the extra.

In LRO this month there is a company called Silverline (P190) selling the cheapest packages I've seen.

20" Stormer with Hankook tyres (275/45/20 or 275/40/20) £975 for a set of 4

20" Std SC alloys with tyres as above, £975

They are also selling 22" Tigers with 295/30/22 or 285/30/22 Hankook tyres for £1600!!

Only buy reputable wheels with TUV..... (that cost a lot more).... Remember your driving a vehicle weighing 2.5 tonnes, which can travel over 100 mph.... buy a RAV4 if you cannot afford a set of properly designed wheels....!!

IMHO I think the risk is too high to put cheap wheels on or even to put bigger than 20" wheels on. Stick to what LR fit and you can't go too wrong. TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

I have just fitted a set of Silverline's Deep Dish Alloys and BFG MTR's to my Def90 this afternoon............... during fitting one wheel a wheel nut didn't locate and slipped from the bottom bolt and has chipped the clearcoating right through..................... they are imitations of LR wheels and have no LR logo cast into them, this has dented my confidence as to how strong they will be offroad. 4 Wheels and tyres + carriage to here totalled £750.
In contrast I have a set of 11year old OEM Freestyle alloys with my BFG AT's on them and they have been given a pretty hard life offroad, they have only just started to show any signs of oxidisation/corrosion under the clearcoat - I doubt the new wheels will last half as long
For a high performance car like the RRS/ FFRR I would not even dream of fitting anything other than the best quality wheels I could find and preferably the OEM approved by the factory and having LR's logo cast into them. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW
