It works with the 6230i and the dealer had a newer Nokia, but certainly not with my wife's N73, nor my E50 Mad

wow, if the FL2 has the new pti then great for the address book etc, but you may find thats the reason it does not wont to work. I can confirm that the following ALL work with voice activation on a MY07 RRS;

Nokia N95 - turn off remote sim
Blackberry 8800 - turn off address book push
Blackberry 8100 (Pearl) - 3 different ones, with different sw levels, turn off address book push
Samsung x820 Ultra - turn off address book sync
Blackberry 8700 series - turn off address book push
Nokia 6230 and 6310i

The only one that I have not got working yet is the iPaq 6900 series... it won't even pair!! Big Cry but I will keep hacking and sort it!!!

Enjoy Thumbs Up ** RRS HSE TDV8 2008.5, Java, Black, Privacy Glass, TV - Side Steps - LR Sills - Clear Side Lens
GONE - RRS HSE TDV8, Java, Black, Privacy Glass, TV - Side Steps - Tasmod Sills - Clear Side Lens
** Kawasaki ZX10R (05) - green of course! - Ohlins Damper, R&G Spindles, Kwak Hump
** Focus ST2 - Blue, side stripes
** Boeing Chinook HC2 - 2 x T55 engines 3,750 hp each!! 183mph, 2xM134 Miniguns, 1xM60 Machinegun

Hi there Birdy ....

Yes the N95 works a treat in the RRS.

As for the voice activation - easy set up - just follow the instructions in your LR handbook - store you most frequently used numbers/names.

Ie....

Get in car = N95 has already paired with the RRS ...... to make voice activated phone call = flick/Pull handsfree toggle button on steering wheel ... after beep ... you say PHONE .. DIAL NAME ..... it/she says name please..... you say [ for instance ] ..... HOME...... and thats it .... connected... and phone rings your home = EASY Thumbs Up

I find the voice recognition works best when you store long numbers. eg instead of storing 123 then 456 store 123456 in one go. RRS 2.7 TDV6 HSE Zambezi silver,Alpaca.

I have tried this and have stored 4 numbers so far but not directly from my phone just in the car??
Do I need to set up the voice on my phone first for home for example??
Help??

No ... all the VOICE activated stuff - for use with RRS PTI - through the cars speakers etc etc .. is via the cars system alone.

You can retrofit the BT system, but I wouldn't bother, probably better getting a parrot system like Tim in Scotland
