BLUETOOTH FIX - Blackberry (some other phones too)

A Blackberry fix at last!!! Been digging around on some forums for a while trying to resolve this, my dealer has been on to Land Rover to find a Fix..... However I have found the answer (and even sorted it for one of my dealers customers picking up his last week).

The problem lies in a small menu that allows the address book on the Blackberry (and a some other phones I tried) to be transferred automatically via Bluetooth to another "device". However the Land Rover (nokia really) PTi kit thinks it is being pushed information and therefore will not allow voice functions to happen!!

Here is what you need to do;

1. go to Bluetooth setup - when it starts a search cancel it.
2. scroll to and highlight your device "LAND ROVER"
3. using the Blackberry key, scroll to and select options.
4. Scroll to and select "address book transfer" - Change this to disable and save the changes
5. ENJOY - you now have FULL voice control!!

Some phone have a similar type of Bluetooth address book control, some (Nokias) have an option called "remote sim".... turn it off and ENJOY ** RRS HSE TDV8 2008.5, Java, Black, Privacy Glass, TV - Side Steps - LR Sills - Clear Side Lens

My wife has just got a Fl2 HSE which does download the contacts, but it won't recognise her N73 at all, I will try the remote SIM off thoug, any other ideas? (Fl2 site is rather quiet)

It is good and works fine with the 6230i that I keep in my D3, Iwas just hoping it would work with the N73 It seems mad when my D3 will speak to the N73 You've got no hope with a N95
