Hi Martin,
When I say "thrown", it may well have been reluctantly, because I effectively "told" them to include the mats Wink
That is incredibly tight of them though not to do the same for you, especially given your past relationship with them.
Maybe they work like banks and give better deals for new clients and don't give a stuff about existing ones Smile
Cheers

Guy Salmon gave me nothing and when I saw they had some drinks at the West Carpark at Twickenham I went up to them and they basically told me to F off! Guess who I won't be buying my car from next time! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

I badgered my sales man so much he caved in and gave me a set of the floor mats in the end.

I had to pay for the boot mat though. What annoys me is, I bought the boot mat and the mudlfaps and was so excited about the new car (as I was collecting it at the same time) I forgot to ask for the 10% discount I had been promised..DOH! L319 D4 HSE

I got four rubber mats - they look nice and got half tank of petrol when I collected my RRS. I managed tirelessly persuade them (stratstone in Aylesbury) to throw it for me!

I guess I was lucky with the mats. My dealer threw in an alpaca set of carpeted mats and the rubber load space mat.

I decided to pick up some black carpeted mats on eBay cheap to use in the winter as the alpaca mats show mud and dirt pretty easily once the weather turns. The black ones are working out pretty well. I like the way they pick up on the black interior touches that are present even with the alpaca interior. I also like the way they absorb small amounts of snow when it melts instead of sending it sloshing around on the floor as sometimes happens with rubber mats.
