2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Java Black

Reduced Engine Performance Fault

I got this error tonight during a 3 hour highway drive. How serious is it? I am going to the local dealer in the morning. I am away from home.

I don't know what to feel!

May or may not reappear after you restart the engine etc.... if it reappears more than a couple of times, a dealer visit is probably pertinent.

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

I had this happen a couple of times last year in one trip, the engine went into limphome mode and I posted about it somewhere........................ IRC it was fixed with a replacement sensor and an ECU upgrade. Mine is a TDv6 though 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

It was a software upgrade. They reset the ECU and away I went.

Now, I have to take my daughter to the doctor. We just noticed that her finger is infected. I wonder if that will be a software upgrade too.

I'm off...some vacation.

2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Sumatra Black

Mine required a new sensor and ECU upgrade.., which wiped remap! Sometimes the LR Assist techician can recify with laptop. Switching engine off and back on again normally cancels message and "limp mode." But, as Shmoogle says, if it recurs a dealer visit is required, although dont panic because its unlikely that actual damage is being caused to engine.
