TV4x4 have booked Broxhead Common for their next monthly meeting. Due to MOD limitations this will be a SATURDAY event rather than a Sunday.

Broxhead Common is one of a series of large Army driver training areas located around Bordon in Hampshire. It has both a large open areas of mud, sand and water combined with wooded areas.

I know some of you may have come to our Oxleys Shaw event and found the area a bit tight and restricted for big shiny vehicles - the good news is that Broxhead is large enough and open enough to cater for both the "Suzuki" element to trash about and the shiny brigade to paddle their wheels.

Total Off-Road Magazine SHOULD be there covering the event (can never quite guarantee these things) so why not get your RRS or G4 RRS photographed in the press.

I will be taking my RRS, but only as a tow vehicle for my SJ (but may be tempted to paddle for the photographer!)

Being a Saturday event you can always "show and shine" on the Sunday ready for the working week!

Martin, if you are taking your RRS, even as a towcar for the SJ, remember that you have to dress in best best business suit trousers and shirt for the day to maintain the RRSport.co.uk offroad dress standard. A Carbon Footprint is the mark a lump of coal makes when it's dropped on the ground.

Its strange you should mention that - it is a running joke in TV4x4 that DJ's will be required for drivers of "PimpMobiles" so it looks as if that's what I am going to have to do.
